What’s the difference between a Flush Mount Panorama and a Flush Mount Hinged Album?
The prints within a Flush Mount Panorama Album extend across the entire two-page spread with no gutter. Flush Mount Hinged Albums have a small 1/8" gutter, or break, between the left and right page.
What are the pages like?
Our Flush Mount Album is the most premium album in our line so pages in Flush Mount Albums are the thickest we offer. When making Flush Mount Albums, prints are adhered to a firm substrate, creating pages approximately 1.5mm thick.
Do you have cover samples?
We currently offer cover swatches for our standard and premium leather options. To order, please visit the Billable Supplies | Samples section. Additionally, you may order a full 10x10 Printed Metal or Acrylic cover sample only via ROES.
Do you have sample albums?
We do offer 25% off of all sample albums. Sample albums will be stamped on the outside, back cover stating ‘Not for Resale, Sample Only.’ Due to seasonal increases in volume, the sample discount is not available November 1 through December 30.
What’s the turnaround?
Typical turnaround for albums is 2 – 5 days in lab. Albums are delivered via free FedEx next-business day shipping.
What are my foil stamping options?
You can add foil stamping to any of our standard leather album covers. Stamping is available in two fonts, Arial or Park Avenue, in either gold or silver foil. Up to three lines of text can be stamped on the cover (28 characters per line) in the lower center or lower right corner of the album cover.
Is the cost of the prints extra?
No, the cost of prints is included in the price of the album.
How should my album page files be sized?
Simply size your files to the largest size you’re ordering at 250 dpi, so a 12x12 would be 12"x12" (24"x12" for panos) at 250 dpi, of course, leaving all important elements 3/8 to 1/2 inch away from the edge of the file. This will also work for any companion LayFlat Albums or Books ordered with the main Album. If looking to order one of our premium album covers, we do provide guide files for custom-printed, etched, and acrylic covers. Visit the How to Order tab to find cover guides.
What is the bleed for the albums?
Technically, there is no bleed for albums. We do however recommend leaving all important elements ½" away from the edge of the file. This allowance ensures critical elements will not be trimmed during album manufacturing.
To order a companion, does it have to be the same images as the original album?
Yes, in order to take full advantage of the companion LayFlat ordering solution, you upload just one design and place your order for multiple albums and books. If you want to use different images for your companion, a separate order will need to be placed.
Can pages be added or replaced after uploading?
Unfortunately, no.
